To bridge this gap, Phronesis Academy, in collaboration with BCBS Taiwan, launched the Smart iMoney Program: an initiative designed to equip children and teens with essential financial wisdom through engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.

Many youths enter adulthood without the basics of financial literacy. The Smart iMoney Program aims to change that by introducing practical money concepts in ways that are simple, interactive, and immediately applicable. Through structured play and real-life scenarios, participants begin to understand the value of spending wisely, saving consistently, and making thoughtful choices with their resources.
The mission is straightforward — help young people build the mindset, habits, and confidence needed to make sound financial decisions throughout life.

The Smart iMoney Program offers three learning pathways tailored to different ages and learning goals.
This introductory workshop uses games, stories, and hands-on activities to teach children the foundations of smart spending, saving, and sharing. Participants learn the difference between needs and wants, how to manage basic allowances, and how small financial habits lead to long-term stability.
For deeper engagement, the 3-day camp introduces more complex ideas through teamwork, problem-solving, and immersive role-play. Children and teens explore budgeting, setting financial goals, tracking progress, and navigating simulated money environments. The camp focuses on behaviour-building — discipline, coordination, and thoughtful decision-making.
A forward-looking course for teens ready to explore business creation. This program develops entrepreneurial thinking through idea generation, market understanding, pitching, and leadership exercises. Participants learn how businesses work, how value is created, and how to turn ideas into structured plans.
The Smart iMoney Program reflects a shared belief between Phronesis Academy and BCBS Taiwan: teaching financial wisdom early empowers children to build stronger futures. When young people understand money, they gain more than financial skills — they gain clarity, responsibility, and the confidence to navigate an increasingly complex world.
By transforming financial education into engaging, meaningful experiences, the program helps shape a generation that approaches money with wisdom, intention, and purpose.
